Tanzania’s Ali Kiba and Yvonne Chaka Chaka recording a song?

Tanzania’s celebrated musician Ali Kiba is one of the few East African musicians with clean track records that speak for themselves. The singer was recently in South Africa where he met Yvonne Chaka Chaka,a decorated African music icon for the first time and couldn’t help but express his joy with a warm social media post that read;

‘’It was a great honor and pleasure to meet Mama Yvonne Chaka Chaka who I have loved and admired all my life. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your memories, advice and guidance. I am truly grateful and looking forward to our project #KingKiba.’’

Ali Kiba, who had gone to perform at the Mkhaya Migrants Awards in Johannesburg, was not only treated to the exclusive meeting with the Africa’s music legend, but also got an opportunity to work with her on a collabo that is set to grace the airwaves soon. News about the collabo was made public by Mr Mathew Mensah, who is the CEO of Creative Mind Space.
